Dr. E. Abrams
Elizabeth Abrams, DDS, is a cosmetic and family dentist who treats patients of all ages at Manhasset Dental Arts in Manhasset, New York.
Dr. Abrams earned her dental degree from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. During her time at NYU, she developed an expertise in root canals, implant dentistry, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, pediatric dentistry, and geriatric patient treatment. She had the privilege of studying alongside and graduating with her father, who was also a student during her time there.
Since graduating, Dr. Abrams has kept her skills sharp by devoting time to continuing education courses. She’s completed advanced studies in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and occlusion, in addition to digital dental and implant planning. She has also trained in administering nitrous oxide and is experienced in working with patients under both conscious and general sedation.
At Manhasset Dental Arts, Dr. Abrams is dedicated to designing specialized treatment plants to create beautiful and healthy smiles for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. She’s particularly skilled in practicing smile design with a variety of approaches, including the use of implant and tooth-supported dentures, space maintainers, growth-modification appliances, and biomimetic and regenerative techniques to repair damaged teeth. She’s also adept in full mouth rehabilitation to improve smiles suffering from bite collapse or partial dentition.
Dr. Abrams is a proud and active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. She lives in Manhasset with her husband and daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, serving on her children’s PTA, and exercising with the family puppy, Merlin.

Michael Abrams, DDS, is a certified periodontist and orthodontist who creates beautiful smiles at Manhasset Dental Arts in Manhasset, New York.
Dr. Abrams graduated from Queens College, City University of New York. He stayed in New York City for his dental degree, which he completed at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He then relocated to Philadelphia to complete a prestigious periodontics/orthodontics dual residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
His dual specialty training gives him an edge in providing continuous and uninterrupted care for patients who need dental work in both specialties, like in cases of extractions and dental implant planning for orthodontic treatment. Less than 100 people worldwide have this dual specialty training, and Dr. Abrams is one of three providers in New York.
During his residency, Dr. Abrams developed an aptitude for orthognathic surgical cases and treating cleft palates. He also honed his skills in a variety of periodontal procedures, including the surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, implantology, and gingival plastic surgery procedures like aesthetic crown lengthening, gingival augmentation, and root coverage. He also gained expertise in a number of orthodontic treatments and appliances, including self-ligating systems, temporary anchorage devices, palatal expanders, lingual braces, and Invisalign®.
Since completing his residency, Dr. Abrams has stayed up-to-date on advancements in dental techniques and technology with continuing education courses. He’s a certified provider of pinhole gum rejuvenation, Wilckodontics® (periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics), incognito lingual orthodontics, Invisalign, and Propel® Orthodontics. He also trains the dentists of tomorrow as a faculty member at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Abrams is a member of the Northeast Society of Periodontics, the Northeast Society of Orthodontics, the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the American Association of Periodontics.
Outside of work, he likes to hang out with family and friends, cook, and rollerblade.
